Book Insight Part Two
The Apologetic Soul
I’m sorry for being sorry!
I’m sorry for being late!
I’m sorry that I didn’t make it to greet you at the door!
I’m sorry I didn’t cover you in kisses!
I’m sorry for being clumsy!
I’m sorry I didn’t keep you safe!
I’m sorry for that clumsy moment…
I bumped into you and spelt tea all over,
The China cup that shattered,
When it hit the ground,
Was just my soul that left your hands.
All I found was shards that bleed out, all the past.
Fastily, I tried to cover it up,
By telling you…
I’m sorry!
Of course, you didn’t accept,
All these apologies
They just dilute from all the disputes!
This time…
I’m sorry!
I had to pack my bags
And, for the final time…
I’m sorry!
Was the note I left behind.
Your title was removed!
And, this time…
I’m NOT sorry!
